Review after 1 year intense use. Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 10” miter saw

Review after 1 year intense use. Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 10” miter saw
The backyard cabin build started out as a simple project that I was just trying to make a storage shed. But it has slowly turned into a full bloom cabin build and I have since bought a lot of cheap tools from Harbor Freight. The Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 10” miter saw with sliding and laser is one of the important purchases dedicate for the build project. Here are my opinion for this saw. In the video, I talked about the reliability, the usage, design, and quality issues. Fins out if this is what you want. Hope it will help you to make your purchase decision.
Unfortunately I  have a lot of opinion for this miter saw after using it over a year building my cabin.  So here is the break down. Please jump to the section that you are interested.

For the price and performance, this miter saw served me well, I don't think I can finish building my shed/cabin without it.

Update: I finally repaired the broken turntable latch.
Now the latch is repaired, I have started to use this miter saw more regularly. I do highly recommend you use good quality saw blade with it. It will make life much easier and it cut just like most other miter saw out there.

If you like to know which miter saw I will consider instead of the HF. Well, 10" is still my choice, but sliding is not that important. and this is a nice one with reasonable price. https://amzn.to/2wPloP9
