Clean silver with hot water + baking soda + aluminum foil |
I just got this F.B. Rogers Silver Plate Champagne Goblet from the local Thrift Store. This is to show you how easy and quick it is to clean the tarnish and polish the silver. The key is hot water + baking soda https://amzn.to/2OK2Abk . Boiling water is the only way to start the chemical reaction. https://amzn.to/2Q7EybH
Note: This quick cleaning for silver method is best suitable for common silverware. It is not a museum approved method for cleaning valuable silver antique item. In most case silver antique item is better off leave it as it anyway. I have been using this silver cleaning method for decades for a lot of common silverware and deactivate items. It is simple and safe way to keeping them shinny and nice looking. Cheers.
