VW Passat Check Engine light fixed. Code P0011 & P0340

This VW Passat Engine code issue is a weird problem and frankly I cannot explain it. However, this is the second times that happened to this 2005 VW Passat and both times the issue is corrected after replaced or cleaning the fuel cap. I understand there are people feeling skeptical about this. But, if you spend your time checking around, I am not the only person reported this problem and the fix. I am also just reported the issue as an honest observation. I will suggest you should give it a try or first replace the fuel cap if you have a similar issue. .

This video is a recording of my troubleshooting process, and how to correct the Engine code problem that has been happening for the past three weeks with my Passat. I used a Bluetooth code scanner purchased from eBay and the free version of Torque app to read the code.

Fault Code P0011: "A" camshaft position - Timing Over- Advanced or System Performance (Bank1)
Fault Code P0340: Camshaft position Sensor "A" Circuit (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
